Northwind Demo Group — Fictional sample — a fictional company used only in this demo. No real customer's data is shown here.
Every topic's level band, Round 1 (n=10) vs. the Six-month re-check (n=11), plus the top-two share behind each band. This is a second reading of the same group, not a controlled test — it does not prove any change caused the movement.
“Top-two share” is the percentage who picked one of the best two options — Consistently/Usually for most topics, Very Likely/Likely for Retention Risk — out of all responses, including Prefer not to answer.

Ten of Northwind Demo Group's twelve invited team members answered in Round 1; eleven of twelve answered six months later. Both are small samples — the bands below are marked indicative, meaning a single person answering differently could shift them, not a firm reading.
What holds up well in both rounds. Expectations Clarity and Capability lead both rounds — 70% and 80% picking "Consistently" or "Usually" in Round 1, rising to about 82% each six months later. Manager Effectiveness and Enablement sit a step behind but move the same way (70% to about 73%). Retention Risk is also broadly favorable both times, with most respondents saying they are Likely or Very Likely to stay (70%, then about 73%) — though a small minority in each round said Very Unlikely, and one preferred not to answer. That's a small enough number to name honestly rather than average away, and worth an open, group-level conversation about retention concerns rather than assuming everyone feels secure.
Where the friction sits. Round 1's lowest top-two shares were Cross-Functional Flow and Operational Friction, each at 3 of 10 (30%), with Priorities Under Competing Demands, Decision Flow, Information Flow, and Genuine Consideration close behind at 4 of 10 (40%). Six months later the shape has shifted rather than repeated: Genuine Consideration is now the lowest, at 5 of 11 (about 45%), while Cross-Functional Flow, Decision Flow, Safe to Speak Up, Operational Friction, Leadership Follow-through, and Fairness & Consistency cluster around 6 of 11 (about 55%). Priorities Under Competing Demands and Information Flow moved further, to 7 of 11 (about 64%) — real improvement, but still behind Expectations Clarity and Capability.
Where six months made the least difference. By percentage points, Capability and Retention Risk barely moved (roughly +2 and +3 points). Genuine Consideration remains mixed — 4 of 10 to 5 of 11 on the top two options, about 40% to 45% — and Fairness & Consistency's top-two share actually declines slightly, from 6 of 10 (60%) to 6 of 11 (about 55%).
Reading the comparison. The six-month numbers are a second, differently-sized sample of the same group, not a controlled before/after test — nothing here demonstrates that any specific change caused any specific movement. Treat the comparison as "where a second look landed," not as proof a fix worked.
